We have a vision for the future of mining where increased digitalization, electrification and automation will increase our customers’ productivity, energy efficiency and safety. Due to this we put great efforts into making mining smarter and better. In order to support this development in the long term, we need a continuous influx of competent and capable service technicians with diverse competencies. In order to establish this influx, we will establish an Epiroc Academy in Sweden with the aim to generate competent and capable service technicians for our European region.
Mission
In the role as Service Technician Academy Leader you will be responsible for setting up an Epiroc Academy in Sweden. You will lead the project with tasks ranging from establishing contact with needed support functions, sourcing for premises and shaping the program itself.
The overall mission is to create an academy that generates a pipeline of competent and motivated service technicians. We believe that, by attracting young and driven people from a diverse talent pool with a 50% gender balance, the academy will supply our organization with competent people that help us reach our long term targets.
You will establish an academy that introduces our new recruits to the World of Epiroc where they find space to build loyalty to us as an employer, based on competitive and agile training as well as being part of strong, diverse teams that generate long-lasting friendships and drives diversity for the company as a whole.
Your Profile
We believe that in order to succeed in this position you have a degree in a relevant area, such as Education or Science, or have acquired equivalent competence through experience. Experience from related business/businesses and potentially a background within education is desirable.
In order to build the academy as well as finding future resources we see that you have great skills in planning & execution, networking and interacting with others. You have the capacity to maintain the bigger picture while piecing things together and have a strong drive and sense of urgency.
To thrive in this role we think you are an engaged and self-motivated employee with a passion for training as well as a technical interest. You have a creative and daring mindset and ability to drive initiatives forward. Where some see challenges you see possibilities for development.
You are fluent in English and Swedish, both verbally and in written and have proficient IT skills.

Location and travel
The role is based in Stockholm or Örebro, Sweden.
Occasional travel is required.
