We are seeking a skilled individual to contribute to the development of new fixtures and assist with fixture threading and chip separation within the project to upgrade the machining line, ensuring the continued production of  high-volume product!

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the development of world-class engines and drive systems for marine and industrial applications. Their operations encompass various manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, painting, and testing. As they transition towards a more sustainable future with a focus on low or zero-emission alternatives, they rely on the collective effort of our 300 employees at the Vara plant. The Project Management Department plays a vital role in expediting the organizational transformation, serving as the bridge between Product Development and Manufacturing Engineering within the organization.

Role description
In this position, you will closely collaborate with the project team, employing understanding of manufacturing operations to assess the impact of proposed process solutions. Your responsibilities will involve analyzing the current setup, identifying necessary changes, and overseeing the implementation of these modifications. You will primarily focus on resolving issues related to machining fixtures, ensuring improved flatness, effective chip handling, and addressing threading concerns. Your role will also include planning and executing tests, measurements, and logistics in coordination with the project team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Report directly to the Chief Project Manager
• Develop and implement reliable fixtures that seamlessly integrate into the manufacturing process, including machining, automation, washing, and control systems

About you
• Proficiency in threading and screw joint techniques
• Strong skills in machining processes
• Analytical aptitude for problem-solving
• Effective planning abilities
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Having prior experience in machining will be considered an advantage.

About the position
The assignment is a consultant position with employment at Adecco. The start will take place as soon as possible after agreement.
This assignment as Engineer is based in Vara.
