Equipment Engineering Manager

The Equipment Engineering Manager will have full responsibility for a team of approx.15 mechanical designers, automation, test and simulation engineers.Your objective will be on delivering the next generation of technologies for Tetra Pak, with a focus on filling equipment.You report to the Director Key Competencies & Advanced Concepts and will be responsible for equipment design, functionality, delivery and performance.Your team will also play a key role in technology validation.Together with Competence Groups, Systems Engineering and Projects, you are part of a team that ensures technology developments are concluded successfully and within agreed parameters of quality, cost & time.

To succeed in this job you should:

- be able to manage a broad portfolio of design activities
- have a broad understanding of mechanical and robust design, mechatronic solutions and simulation
- work effectively with other competences e.g.sealing and aseptic technologies
- be capable of representing and constantly improving team competence
- build effective relationships in D&E and other Tetra Pak organizations


Kvalifikationer

The successful candidate is a competent engineer, able to penetrate key technical issues and ensure delivery of robust technical solutions.You have a passion for innovation and technology crucial in early-phase development.You communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.Critically, you have the commitment, drive and determination to overcome obstacles to success.Your educational background is a university degree in engineering.You also have a minimum of 5 years experience from a management position.
