Position description:

Equipment Leader Pilot Plant, Body in White


Body in White Commodity is a section within the Body Manufacturing Engineering. The section develops and implements quality assured, flexible and effective production systems in the Body in White production facilities. Within the Body Commodity, we are now looking for an Equipment Leader focused on our Pilot Plant, Body in White.


Job description / Main Tasks

Ensure deliveries of typebound tooling for Body in White Equipment for Pilot Plant
Ensure the technical specifications and content of the equipment
Perform and lead Design reviews during the Engineering and procurement phase
Develop methods and techniques for equipment in the Pilot plant
Lead, plan and coordinate the procurement process
Lead and plan other typebound 3D equipment projects within Body in White
Work Cross functional with Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Production and Program management
Cost follow up

Skills and required experience:

Qualifications:
· Technical basic competence on Bachelor/ Master of sciences level or similar.
· Good leadership skills
· Broad knowledge within the equipment design and procurement process
· Project leader skills or experience from previous assignments in projects
· Deep knowledge regarding administrative systems, FT&E process flows, standards and specifications regarding equipments
· Negotiation experience
• 3D Catia competence is a big advantage
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

• Enthusiasm in optimizing the manufacturing system and car body by using simulation
