Role Take feedback from the markets/customers, via Sales and technical support people, and turn it into development projects to ensure that the business has the options to be competetive in its chosen market sectors. Manage the necessary development projects to deliver the project aims within the required timescale and budgets. Work with selected 'key account' customers to help develop solutions to their issues to build partnerships that yield mutual benefits. Provide an expert internal consultancy service to other departments on Metallurgical issues. Raise the profile of the business by active participation in Conferences and Seminars. Requirements A minimun of a Bachelors Degree in Metallurgy/Material Science with at least 3 years experience in a pertinent technical environment A comprehensive theoretical knowledge of Ferrous metallurgical principles Good project and time management skills A thorough knowledge of advanced research and investigational techniques Ability to write technical reports in both Swedish and English Knowledge of the process routes used in the manufacture of the flat products
