Project Management delivers project and construction management services within infrastructure and industry. We lead projects through the entire process, from the planning stage, through the construction phase and on to the operational stage. Our customers are both in the public sector and in the private business world and include everything from government agencies, municipalities, industry, energy companies and private customers, etc.
We work with the industrial transformation to renewable energy and a sustainable society. We help Swedish industry plan and develop fossil-free steel mills in northern Sweden, build battery factories of the future and renewable energy in the form of wind turbines and solar energy parks. AFRY Project Management is looking for Project Managers within infrastructure and industry.
In the role of project manager, you are responsible for leading, driving and following up projects with customers. The role can vary, from project management or design management of smaller individual projects to larger long-term multidisciplinary projects, with innovative overall solutions. With us, you can follow the projects from the early stages to delivery and follow-up. The job involves great freedom and great responsibility with the support of knowledgeable colleagues. You manage the joint work together with the client and the project team towards the project's overall goals. You report in the project to the client and any steering group.
AFRY Project Management in Stockholm collaborates together in teams and develops each other's skills through mutual exchange. With sustainable solutions in focus and through our way of working, we challenge traditional ideas and think outside the box.. We strive to increase quality and value for our customers and to make a difference for both society and the industry at large.
We are looking for project managers for placement in Solna, Liljeholmen or Uppsala.
Requirements specification
We are looking for you who want to be part of AFRY's success story! We believe that you have well-developed leadership skills together with a business-oriented leadership style and good communication skills. You have a great interest in developing both people and projects and contributing your experience to our business.
We would like you to have at least 10 years of experience in project management in civil engineering, construction and civil engineering or the equivalent in the industry or energy industry. We think you have a background as a client, consultant or entrepreneur.
You have a university or civil engineering degree with a relevant focus or other higher education that is deemed equivalent and suitable for the task.
As a person, you are driven by personal development, are committed to your work and like to collaborate to achieve the best results. You are social and naturally business- and customer-focused and see opportunities to do business in the area.
It is advantageous if you have experience from projects with a sustainability profile such as sustainable requirements in procurement, circular material flows in construction projects, etc.
The Swedish language must be able to be handled fluently in speech and writing. (Swedish language must be handled fluently in speaking and writing.)
