Ergonomics Specialist to Core Manufacturing Engineering Assembly Shop

Primarily, MVV:s customers are in the areas of automotive, oil/gas and robotics/automation.

Position description:

As Ergonomics Specialist you will work towards final assembly shops globally. You will work independently, as well as cross-functionally with other functions such as manufacturing engineers, production supervisors and production engineers.

Main tasks:

• Perform ergonomic analysis

• Provide ergonomic expertise to support manufacturing engineers in car programs • Participate and/or lead renewal of way of working with ergonomics within manufacturing engineering.

• Report ergonomic deviations in car programs • Support manufacturing engineers in financial calculations related to ergonomics • Create education material and educate regarding new way of working with ergonomics (this task may be not applicable for the assignment)

Skills and required experience:

Required qualifications

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. degree in Engineering with addition of Ergonomics within Product Development, or Physiotherapist with experience from process- and product development

• Experience from working with ergonomics within process- and product development

• Knowledge about ergonomic tools

• Good overall computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• English in spoken and written

• European Ergonomist certification is meritorious
