Ericsson is a leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally.More than 1000 networks in 140 countries utilize our network equipment and 40 percent of all mobile calls are made through our systems.We are one of the few companies worldwide that can offer end-to-end solutions for all major mobile communication standards.Competence Area Customer Project Management is part of the Global Service Delivery Center (GSDC) Sweden within Ericsson's Global Services organization.Our main task is to support Ericsson's sales organization around the globe to sell, develop and implement Network Rollout and Systems Integration projects. We are seeking Customer Project Managers to be employed in Gothenburg.Systems Integration projects require customer-unique integration of Ericsson and partner products. Customer Project Managers can work in two different phases, during the sales phase or during the execution phase.During the sales phase the Customer Project Manager is a member of the team that sells the product together with sales responsible as well as a technical responsible person.The responsibility in the sales phase for a Customer Project Manager is managing the project scope, resource estimations, project timing and cost.During the delivery phase, the Customer Project Manager is responsible for coordinating work tasks to ensure the solution is implemented on time and within budget. The Customer Project Manager also has the key role of managing the project scope and creating add-on business using efficient change-request procedures.A major part of the work is done outside Sweden, at customer and Ericsson sites.Candidates must be interested in traveling and working in different cultures, and be prepared to travel on short notice.Tasks include: . Participating in the project lifecycle from sales to project planning, project execution and handover to support . Defining and reaching project goals, such as project scope, timing, quality targets and project budget . Assigning project staff and initiating product and service ordering . Managing the refined customer requirements and project documentation .Managing project risks . Leading progress report meetings with the customer and the project steering group . Mentoring and knowledge sharing with colleagues.Competence A Master of Science or equivalent education is required. We are seeking people with: . At least some years experience of project management and/or with project management certification (PMP/PMI).. Experience working as a line manager is also an advantage..
