We are looking for two senior engineers to fulfill a broad range of tasks at our Mobile Broadband Module organization in Gothenburg. Developing software architecture to ensure it is as robust as possible . Working closely with all stakeholders to identify software requirements . Generating the software requirements from the system requirements . Partitioning the requirements into discrete software partitions The position includes design and some implementation work.You will also participate in systemization in conjunction with colleagues from the Systems organization and integration work in cooperation with our HW design and Verification units.Other tasks include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; participating in pre-studies and feasibility studies as required; and improving SW development methods.Some tasks involve close cooperation with Ericsson Mobile Platforms, Sony Ericsson and Notebook vendors. To reinforce our software development capacity, we are looking for an experienced software designer/architect with the ambition to grow and take responsibility, and become an important contributor within our unit. Competence A Master or Bachelor of Science (D, E or F) or equivalent formal qualification is required. We are seeking people with a strong interest in software design methodology (OOAD, UML, model-based development and software processes), and proven ability in technical writing.Strong communication skills and a high proficiency in English are also required. Merit will be given for: . Experience in embedded SW development using OSE or other real-time systems . Experience in SW development of device drivers in Windows . Experience in SW C/C++ development of Windows applications . Competence in WCDMA, GSM, data com, USB and/or mobile terminals The positions require strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving and information gathering.You will be able to act on your own initiative, including follow-up activities, be quality and efficiency minded, result oriented, and prepared to work on a variety of tasks.Strong interpersonal and social networking skills are also needed.
