ESAB Laxå is looking for a Global Application Manager SAW


ESAB is a global company and world leading when it comes to producing consumables and equipment for virtually every welding and cutting process and application.
We are looking for a Global Application Manager SAW.
· The Welding Application Team is part of the Product Management group in Global Automation organization
· The Welding Application Team is responsible for managing the 1st and 2nd line Application development, customer support and provide this to regions and the end-customers


We offer you an exciting opportunity to lead the SAW Application team consisting of three persons and to manage the SAW welding laboratory including the Health and Safety responsibility.


Team accountabilities
· Provides applications development service and knowledge to regions and customers
· Coordinates all SAW applications development requests and in cooperation with the Automation sales and Product Management
· Provides central support to regions and customers in resolving the customers SAW welding problem
· Owns the SAW practical welding training and training materials
· Plans training and support on welding SAW to regions and customers
· Document all findings


Your qualifications
· Welding engineer IWE with minimum 5 years’ experience
· High level of technical skills and experience in submerged arc welding process, power sources, handling equipment and control systems is an asset
· Results and customer focused
· Pragmatic, “makes things happen”
· Ability to develop and sustain solid working relationships with central organisations (engineering, R&D) and regions
· Ability to lead and develop persons in the group
· Solid command of spoken and written English
