About this opportunity
Welcome to ESG Analysis in Group Credit Management! We are a newly established team with the ambition of being Nordea's competence centre for ESG-related credit risk. Our purpose is to perform independent and high quality ESG analyses for larger corporate customers exposed to higher ESG-risks, advise our stakeholders on ESG-related credit risks and opportunities and thereby adding value to the credit process.
Furthermore, we have a key role in developing the analysis of ESG-related credit risks, including climate-related risks, and driving and participating in ESG-related initiatives to support Nordea’s strategy of being a sustainable bank.
As ESG Analyst you will play a valuable role in performing ESG analyses for larger corporate customers in Business Banking and Large Corporates & Institutions and advise our stakeholders with regards to ESG-related credit risks and opportunities in order to enable business in a prudent way. Furthermore, you will have an important role in contributing to various ESG-related development initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
* Performing ESG analyses for larger corporate customers in order to provide up to date and relevant conclusions to the credit process.
* Actively sharing expert knowledge and owning objective view on ESG-related credit risks with our stakeholders.
* Actively contributing to various ESG-related development initiatives.


You will join a new ​team consisting of 15 ESG Analysts and will thereby have the opportunity to take part in shaping the role. The role can be based in Stockholm, Oslo or Copenhagen.

Your experience and background: 
* At least 2-4 years of relevant work experience within ESG analysis or sustainability.
* Academic degree in Sustainability, Environmental management, Engineering, Finance or other relevant field.
* Fluent proficiency in English and in any of the Nordic languages, both written and verbal (professional level).
