A new role within Swedfund’s growing organisation has arisen from a need to manage and develop their ESG & Impact data collection, verification, and analysis. The role will also play a key role in aligning operations and reporting with current and imminent developments within the regulatory frameworks for sustainable finance.
Based in Stockholm and reporting to the Director of ESG & Impact, you will work in close cooperation with the Finance, Investment and ESG& Impact teams.
Role description
The ESG & Impact Data Analyst would be part of Swedfund’s ESG & Impact team that is responsible for integrating ESG & Impact considerations into Swedfund’s investment process and developing Swedfund’s sustainability approach. The role will be responsible for ensuring access to relevant and reliable non-financial data regarding the entire breadth of Swedfund’s investment portfolios.
Role associated tasks
- Manage and execute data collection from portfolio companies
- Review data gaps and conduct data validation
- Input data into relevant data management systems
- With the help of raw data, quantify non-financial indicators such as indirect jobs and climate emissions
- Support the compilation of portfolio level data and quality checks on portfolio level KPI:s
- Contribute towards external sustainability reporting such as GRI
- Administrate and monitor status of ESG Action Plans
- Represent Swedfund at the relevant EDFI working groups
- Inform and stay abreast of important developments within sustainability reporting and regulations
Qualifications:
- Relevant academic qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years’ direct professional experience in a responsible investment or sustainability role incorporating; sustainability reporting frameworks, KPI:s and data management or assurance
- Professional levels of fluency in both Swedish and English

Candidates will possess a keen eye for details and take pride in delivering quality on-time. The role is newly created, and the tasks vary in complexity, so a high degree of flexibility and adaptability is required.
