The Financial Reporting team that you will support as the Subject Matter Expert is responsible for accurate and timely regulatory reporting for Ikano Bank and its branches in the Nordics, UK and Germany. The team also produce public disclosures, such as the annual and interim reports, for the bank. In addition to this the team provides technical support around regulatory matters, plans for regulatory development and ensures that the Bank maintains adequate capital in relation to its risk profile. The finance functions need to strengthen our focus on implementing regulatory change in general, and the ESG taxonomy reporting in particular, and are looking for a Subject Matter Expert to help us do so. You will be part of Ikano Bank, and placed either in Malmö or Sundbyberg, where we create possibilities for a better living by providing banking and financial services. At Ikano Bank the pace is high and you will have the possibility to influence. This position will give you an opportunity to develop your expertise in banking, from ESG reporting to capital and liquidity requirements, balance sheet understanding, credit risk and compliance, all in an international environment.
The Financial Reporting Team prepares around 100 unique reports to internal and external stakeholders such as Finansinspektionen, SCB, Riksgälden and their equivalents in the other countries. We work in close cooperation with other Finance functions such as Finance Governance, Accounting, Treasury and Business Control. The team is also a stakeholder in the development of technical solutions and provides support in regulatory matters. Areas of responsibility will include:
• Monitor best practice and future developments in ESG reporting requirements and translate into the impact for Ikano Bank
• Maintain knowledge of other regulatory frameworks by which the Bank is required to comply
• Function as a specialist on regulatory requirements and perform gap analysis in the implementation of new reporting frameworks in multiple jurisdictions including advising stakeholders with the correct and consistent interpretation of ESG reporting standards and requirements
• Support the implementation of a compliant ESG reporting framework, including robust and auditable standards to enable credible external ESG reporting
• Close cooperation with Financial Reporting Specialists and Finance Compliance Manager in developing and streamlining current and future reporting
• Speaking partner to system developers on regulatory matters and data requirements, ensuring that robust, timely and verifiable data is collected for the external reporting
• Participate in projects related to reporting and finance
• Carry out different finance and regulatory related ad-hoc inquiries
• Other tasks related to the team´s work e.g. development of processes and routines
