The ETS team is accountable for all Infrastructure, Security, IT Operations and all End User Services and technologies. This is what you'll do

The IT Transition Specialist will perform acceptance into services and transition activities to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with Service Level Agreements and business requirements and ensuring ultimately the delivery of IT Services to AZ customers. You will help to ensure efficient, effective and detailed management of service introductions, service change or service improvements, by coordinating their introduction into AstraZeneca's live service environment, ensuring no disruption to the business or ongoing service delivery. You will also play a key role in feeding into improvements to existing services, working closely with the multi-functional IT Service Managers or IT Application Leads and lead service design and service acceptance activities. In this role you will also collaborate with Customer Service managers on communication of Service Improvement Plans; Suppliers to develop operational budgets and manage these by tracking spend; Third party suppliers on operational issues affecting applications from a designated service area.





Accountabilities

* Accountable on projects for the acceptance to service process assuring compliance is maintained, with the guidelines that regulate the AstraZeneca business, e.g SoX, Privacy, and GxP.
* Support key service processes, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management and Release Management, ensuring that they are implemented and effective
* Integrated assurance to support internal and external assurance activities
* Monthly performance management reporting and roadmap of forward projects to Acceptance to Service Lead
* Accountable for Service Design Assessment (SDA) activity from receiving support organisations or operational teams
* Responsible for making sure key collaborators are appraised of any associated risks and gaps are minimised but clearly understood by all before acceptance into service.
* Work closely with the appropriate Customer Best Practice roles to ensure any known ways of working, best practice or workaround are accurately recorded and shared with the business community for agreed new or enhanced services.



Requirements

This role requires a self-starter who has successful experience with Service Design and Introduction processes. You have a solid understanding of project and change management processes, as well as leading these in a customer facing environment. We also see that you are experienced in applying policies, procedures, guidelines and risk management assessment within a regulatory / governance environment. You can confidently and proficiently influence, as well as work together with, different collaborators in order to achieve positive outcomes.





You will also need:

* Demonstrable ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
* Experience of risk management and assessment.
* Experience of Knowledge, Incident and Request management processes.
* Ability to handle competing priorities optimally and make decisions in pressured situations.



Relevant expertise of at least three of:

* Project Management
* Business Relationship Management
* Business Analysis
* IT Service Management
* IT Service Delivery Management
* Basic experience of IT architecture or systems engineering or service delivery
