EUROPE BEYOND ACCESS Consortium Project Manager

EUROPE BEYOND ACCESS Consortium Project Manager

Arbetsbeskrivning

Denna tjänst kräver flytande engelska i tal och skrift. Tjänstebeskrivningen finns därför bara på engelska.
EUROPE BEYOND ACCESS (EBA) is Europe’s largest and most influential initiative to focus on the active participation of artists with disabilities in mainstream dance and theatre. Ten leading European performing arts institutions are joining forces to advance the work and careers of disabled artists – including Deaf artists, artists with physical disabilities, sensory impairments and learning difficulties – through an ambitious programme of transnational creation and circulation, artistic capacity building and institutional learning. We are working to embed best practices and innovation in our mainstream organisations and networks to eliminate ableism in Europe’s cultural arena.

The EUROPE BEYOND ACCESS consortium is made up of ten Beneficiaries and two Associated partners, supported by seven Dissemination Affiliates. All partners are experienced European operators and have previously delivered cooperation projects of various sizes. Five of the partners (Skånes Dansteater, Holland Dance Festival, Onassis Stegi, Oriente Occidente and Kampnagel, as well as the Associate Partner British Council) were part of the first generation of EBA and have become significantly more accessible for disabled artists and audience as a result. Five new partners – all leaders in their fields and regions – are joining the consortium for this project. They are CODA dance festival in Norway, Zamek Cultural Centre in Poland, Project Arts Centre in Ireland, Mercat de les Flors in Spain and Culturgest – Fundação Caixa Geral de Depósitos in Portugal. They bring a wide range of existing knowledge, experience and investment, and a strong desire to learn from the partners and experiences of the first generation.

Each of the partners has allocated a Project Manager to run the individual partner activities alongside the Artistic Leads and Marketing Teams from the partners. The EBA Consortium Project Manager will work alongside the EBA Project Director, and the EBA Consortium Communications Officer to ensure the good management of the whole collaborative programme. This means supporting good and timely communication with and between the partners, good communication with and meeting requirements of the European Commission Funder, and the good management of the key collaborative actions of the consortium collaboration. The EBA Consortium Project Manager will be employed by the lead partner of the consortium, Skånes Dansteater.

The EBA Consortium Project Manager is ensuring that the commitments to the Funder are met, and that evidence and proof required by the Funder is provided by the consortium.
The EBA Consortium Project Manager is the only full-time role on the project with 100% of time focussing on the project. EBA Project Director is 3 days a week, and partner colleagues are all part time on the project. Therefore, the EBA Consortium Project Manager is expected to develop a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of the complete overall project, as well as understanding the different needs and challenges of all ten partners. By doing so the EBA Consortium Project Manager can be the first point of call for questions from the project partners about project structure, finance, and schedule, as well as can be a guide to partners on how additional opportunities can be found to exploit the project for full impact.

The EBA Consortium Project Manager’s tasks include:
Overall responsibility for the administration, planning and budgetary control of the project in close collaboration with the EBA Project Director, the Project Board, and the team of Skånes Dansteater.
Chairing meetings (for example the Project Board).
Providing information for audit, evaluations, and project reporting regularly during the project.
Managing the collaborative elements of the project such as open calls for co-production, residency, and Lab Leaders.
Supporting the partners in the delivery of Work Packages they are leading.
Coordinating both internal and external communications in collaboration with Oriente Occidente, Italy.
Project process monitoring according to the agreed deliverables in close contact with the partner’s project managers. At times the EBA Consortium Project Manager will be responsible for authoring these deliverables.
Coordinating the Project Management Tools such as Project Handbook, Code of ethics, Travel for disability and sustainability-policy, Covid-19 safeguarding policy, Safeguarding policy for vulnerable adults and Memorandum of understanding on diversity and gender equality within the project.
