About the role
You will assist with implementing Defenders’ Days conference together with project team and provide administrative assistance in preparing for and delivering the Defenders’ Days conference in October 2022.
The Event Assistant reports to the Director Security and Innovation.
The role offers great variety, including work tasks such as:
- Logistic support when implementing Defenders’ Days;
- Under the conference period work closely with colleagues and partners and act on day-to-day requests from the Defenders’ Days project manager;
- Provide general administrative support to Defenders’ Days component.
About you
As a person you like to plan, organise, and prioritize your work in an efficient way to keep time frames and deliver results according to organisational goals and quality standards. You show interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. You are open-minded and like to take initiative and generate activity.
It is fundamental for you to resist undue pressure in decision-making and to communicate key points and ideas with clarity.
If you also tend to remain motivated and effective despite setbacks and have the interest and ability to collaborate with and relate to other people in a responsive and smooth way, we are sure that you will thrive in this role.

To be suitable for this position you have:
- Experience from implementing events and high profile conferences;
- Experience of, and proven excellent delivery on, administrative tasks;
- Experience from working in the Microsoft Office 365 environment;
- Fluency (orally and written) in English and Swedish; additional languages, such as Russian or Spanish, are an asset.
It is a merit if you have education within event planning and administration, or human rights with a specific interest or excellence in event related processes.
