Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) is looking for an event coordinator to lead the planning, logistics and delivery of online, hybrid and in-person events at the SEI HQ. The successful candidate will provide advice and deliver effective and strategic event solutions, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Work with the internal stakeholders to identify the project’s requirements and expectations for each event, recommends solutions for reaching project's goals.
Lead the planning, logistics and delivery of events, delegating tasks and utilising HQ facilities e.g. multi-day conferences, hybrid meetings, webinars and external events in collaboration with the internal stakeholder
Supports use of event management systems and software (e.g. event registration, e-mailing agendas etc.)
Provides technical support for events using office facilities in accordance with applicable guidelines.
Supports or directly handle arising issues and troubleshoot emerging problems in relation to event logistics.
Leads the compilation and maintenance of third-party service providers list relating to suitable external venues and support services (such audio-visual, translation, event production, filming, catering/reception as needed). Creates reliable financial analytics/ cost comparison and procurement reports as needed.

Formal qualifications and knowledge:
Academic degree in relevant field or other equivalent experience.
At least two years of experience from relevant sectors such as PR, marketing, communications and or events coordination.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
Experience with digital communications (webinar software, CMS, social media, etc) and communication technologies and practices
Good project management skills

Ability to coordinate, problem solve and move tasks forward.
