We are looking for an Events Marketing Manager, who will be fully dedicated marketing manager, working with client´s Nordic Event Programs and Events Marketing operations, shaping the future of Google Cloud and being part of an entrepreneurial team in a rapidly growing business. The posiiton is starting with 12 months contract with great possibility of extension for another year!

Role Description:
As a Programs and Events Marketing Manager, you will be driving Google Cloud awareness, new business acquisition, customer development and user community programs. You are a passionate and results-driven individual with experience in a software or other high-tech cloud B2B organization.
This role will involve developing and executing on a Nordic event strategy to drive interest in Google Cloud and actively working with a direct sales team on scalable enterprise and digital natives´ programs and campaigns across multiple segments and channels.
Responsibilities:
• Strategize, execute, rollout and optimize new customer acquisition campaigns and programs aligned to horizontal and vertical solutions including events, outbound campaigns, external trade shows and customer stories.
• Strategize, execute, rollout and optimize campaigns to drive customer retention, product engagement, and retention including customer conferences, seminars, education, and engagement tactics.
• Coordinate and support small to major events in the region. Event format can be both third party events and Google events,
• Look for and recommend opportunities to place spokespeople at relevant events across the Nordic region to drive Google Cloud awareness and leads
• Recommend/Implement named events within the overall events strategy for the region
• Coordinate external agencies for event creative adaptation and brand compliance for event marketing communications
• Develop/adapt post event communications based on prospect exposure and requirements.
• Required travel to events outside work location and management of the offsite event
• Work closely with the sales teams and Demand Management team to drive opportunity and business growth.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor´s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in B2B technology marketing or field marketing
• Ability to speak and write in English and preferably one of the Nordic languages fluently and idiomatically
• Experience from planning and delivering digital and physical events
• Strong leadership skills including stakeholder management in a matrix organization
• Excellent project management skills and experience managing multiple internal stakeholders, external creative agencies, events vendors, and international projects
• Great attention to detail
• Distinctive problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities with a track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics
• Hands-on Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and Marketing Automation tools (Marketo) and tracking tools to assess campaign effectiveness
