You're passionate about people. You truly understand the power of leading through communication and it is your mission to support others to communicate their projects, campaigns and events.
You like both working independently and together with other people. You know the IKEA Tone of Voice – What it sounds like! Feels like! Looks like!
More importantly, you are great and stakeholder management and engagement, able to connect people, ideas and perspectives in a way that helps develop and drive our business.
You have knowledge of IKEA's corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people. You know how to use insights to formulate communication strategies, plans and activities to meet IKEA business and receiver needs. You love delivering, measuring the movement and learning. You are outcome focused. Of course, you are excellent in stakeholder management, keeping them and our co-workers well informed, engaged and empowered.
Further, what you need:
• Advanced training in strategic communications or equivalent tests
• Experience of both external and internal communication
• Senior experience with working with strategic communication and/ or business leadership
• Experience with leading in campaign, event or project management
• Being able to handle stressful and unpredictable situations in a dynamic business environment
• Have the ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines
• Strive to meet and exceed quality standards and produce quality work products
• Perform work with care, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Have the ability to both provide strategic direction and also love to roll up the sleeves and 'get hands' on
• Preferred: Knowledge of the IKEA brand, culture, values and way of working
