Arbetsbeskrivning
Volvo Construction Equipment, a business unit within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of construction machinery, such as wheel loaders, dump trucks, excavators, road construction machinery, and compact machines. To maintain a leading position in the market, it is crucial to develop high-quality products while meeting the demands of future generations of robust and energy-efficient drivetrains. This development primarily takes place at the Technical Center in Eskilstuna, where gearboxes and axles are also produced.
The goal of this thesis project is to develop a compact and efficient hydraulic test bench for electrically controlled valves in existing and future machinery gearboxes. The test bench should be capable of both functional testing of current valves and evaluating valves in upcoming machine models. The work will be carried out in the Transmission Development department in Eskilstuna.
