Our Exciting Opportunity!
We are now looking for two developers in the beginning of their career to design test environment hardware for radio performance verification. You are encouraged to be involved in all development activities, such as requirement analysis, test system design, impact analysis on existing hardware and proposals on optimization of existing solutions to meet high volume of multiband products coming up. Product life cycle management and documentation. The role also includes working with the deployment, planning & handling of 5G OTA chamber systems ensuring that our 5G OTA chamber system portfolio is optimized and fit for purpose.
In this role you will get a kick-start of your career in an innovative, inspirational, and changing environment, constantly being encouraged to gain more knowledge. The position reports to the Manager for Test Environment Section.
You will work both in the conducted and OTA domain
Perform continuous analysis and requirement Handling
Perform hands-on integration and verification in lab environment
Develop test systems for performance verification of products and test scripts to define signal paths
Perform trouble shooting and customer support
Participate in test system deployments, both in Kista and other Ericsson sites, Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing proceedings
Assist and participate in measurement trials including establishing Uncertainty in Measurement
Be part of the development, implementation, and maintenance of the test system Strategy for the coming years ahead for measurement capability and preparedness; ensure that it is cost effective and cost efficient
Good understanding of technical lab area and provide improvements and feedback
To be successful in the role you must have
Degree in Electrical or Physics Engineering or similar
Newly graduated or with some years of work experience
Highly self-motivated, self-driven and able to work independently
Demonstrated ability to solve technically complex problems
RF experience, knowledge of radio components such as power amplifiers, DCs, filters, switches, RF Cables etc is an advantage
Understanding of Uncertainty in Measurement
Innovative, adaptive, and responding to change; an analytical approach and be result oriented with ability to deliver under pressure
Result-focused attitude and find it stimulating to work with organizational change and collaboration across the organization
Excellent English skills both verbal & written and in handling relations
