We are looking for an Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Purchasing Strategy & Digitalization (PS&D). This position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden and will be supporting Senior Vice President for PS&D and the Management team.
The position contains a mix of management coordination activities and more classical assistant tasks and is a great opportunity for someone that wants to grow in a very exciting and challenging environment. The person we are looking for is ambitious and has career ambitions. It’s a position with a high level of responsibility and the right candidate will act as the heart of the Management team.

You will also need to be proactive and experienced in handling a wide range of executive and administrative support. Finally, you must be exceedingly well organized and flexible.
Main activities & Responsibility
Support the Senior Vice President with travel, business and general administration and agenda proposition and planning
Be a member of the PS&D Management Team, coordinate and manage day-to-day issues, support and follow-up plans and activities
Plan and organize and take minutes in the department meetings
Prepare documents, presentations and reports supporting either Department or Governance foras
Actively support and coach the SVP and the Management team by preparing, taking part of and facilitate a structured continuous improvement work
Responsible for the department’s administrative routines as well as proficiency in IT tools such as MS Office, Teams, Sharepoint, SAP/R3, EBD etc.
Continuously improve administrative routines
Responsible for the information flow within the department including team building and events
Contribute to a good teamwork within the department
Drive, coordinate and follow-up Project administrative topics
Coordinate activities with the other assistants
Qualifications
Experienced, well-educated and efficient with a solid background
Holistic view and understanding of both Volvo Group Purchasing and the Volvo Group Business is an asset
Very strong integrity, courage, social competence and networking skills
You have an international approach/interest and a global mindset with advanced skills in English
You have good knowledge of the IT systems (advantage if systems used within Volvo)
You have good administration and communication skills, are service-minded and flexible
You have the ability to co-operate, to handle sensitive and confidential information and have personal integrity
Ability to take ownership of the tasks and are able to organize, structure and prioritize a wide range of issues in an effective way
Excellent interpersonal & networking skills
You have a proactive approach and like to drive activities
Knowledge about the Volvo organization and administrative routines is an advantage
