We are now looking for a Expansion Construction Manager. You will be the company's Construction and Technical expert that will manage all kitchen openings throughout Europe with a focus on Germany, Central Europe and Sweden at first. Over time you will develop and set the structure for the Construction and Facility Departments within the Expansion Department of Curb. You will be responsible for setting construction budgets and are measured on the accuracy but also on the number of kitchen openings enabled through your 360 mindset. You will report to the VP of Expansion.
What you’ll do
- To lead, coordinate and execute the opening of our Curb kitchens and handle the on-site set up.
- Enable an efficient construction site based on drawings from the design team.
- Manage all activities before signing a Leasing agreement starting with technical site visits, feasibility studies and create a construction budget.
- After signing a Lease until Expansion hands over the kitchen to the Operation Staff, manage external stakeholders, such as our general contractors, CoLab partners, equipment suppliers and landlords.
- Create a data driven and efficient way of working that enables rapid growth and handling of many Curb Kitchen openings in different countries at the same time.
- Structure our tendering process and in a restless way seek to improve our cost structures and workflows.
What you’ll need
- Experience of Project Management of construction sites in the F&B and/or Retail sector.
- Experience of leading a team formally or informally ideally as Construction Manager.
- Used to work with top management stakeholders and handle many complex tasks and projects at the same time.
- A commercial knowledge that can translate the commercial layer of a drawing to superb solutions on a construction site.
- You are comfortable and used to taking your own initiatives and decisions to keep the fast pace without guidance.
- Strong personal drive and self confidence and a hunger for improvements.
- A curious mind and you are a fast-paced “doer” with a “all is possible” mentality.
