För kunds räkning söker vi Expansion Managers.DECATHLON is an international chain of sport stores, belonging to the Oxylane Group with its head office in France.With 500 stores in 19 countries and 4 continents, Decathlon is the leading sport retailer in Europe and the largest in the world.Our motto is to make the pleasure of sport accessible to all.In order to manage the expansion in the Swedish market and build a strong market position, DECATHLON is now looking for two Expansion Managers, one with a civil-engineer background in construction and one with a legal background within Real Estate.You will be in charge of Decathlon's property development in your dedicated area.You will acquire the best locations in Sweden in each urban area of the prospected territory. As part of the job you will establish long-term relationships with key individuals in municipalities, and your tasks include monitoring official development plans, acquiring necessary building permits, negotiating with landowners, and writing contracts.In permanent contact with local authorities, you will obtain all necessary permits and approvals to secure the opening of the stores.Your mission will be to write the vision of each City Area and schedule the development of the territory with the operator.As an Expansion Manager you will manage your prospection projects independently with backup from our international and local team.The Expansion Manager with the legal knowledge will help the team to check different contracts.The Expansion Manager with the construction background will help the team with construction related matters. You are the ideal candidate for the role if you have a few years experience in the process of a start up linked with acquisition and selling properties.We want you to have an experience in the Swedish market and be good at negotiation.If you have a clear understanding of Swedish retail it is an extra plus.As a preference, we want you to have acquired progressive knowledge in legal or construction, and in financial control.We want you to have an international background and a higher education within construction or law.You speak and write Swedish and English well.If you speak French it will be an extra plus.We are looking for sporty, energetic candidates with good organisational skills and a few years experience in project management.One position is based in Stockholm and will be in charge for parts of the Stockholm region + other cities, the second position is temporarily based in Malmö and will be in charge of the Göteborg region.
