Expansion Researcher and Project Leader for Cosmetic and Chemical Product

Group Compliance department is part of the function “Quality Strategy and Compliance” at our Global Supply Chain organization. Within the function, we aim to make sure we deliver consistent product quality that our customers will love. Group Compliance is responsible for setting legal requirements and routines for all products sold by the H&M Group, in all countries and channels in line with local legislation.
We are now looking for a compliance specialist with regulatory background. You will project lead and perform research for all market and product expansion projects for cosmetic and chemical products. You will work with all concepts within the H&M Group. You will be responsible for all research connected to product compliance and production of cosmetic and chemical products.
You are flexible and can use your strength and knowledge in different ways depending on the challenge we face.


Job Description
Research relevant related regulations in existing and future sales countries. Evaluate the information and set importance for H&M Group.
Overall responsibility is to secure that all preparations are done by Production for all brands so that all products are compliant in the new market.
Project lead towards Global Expansion and /or other Internal stakeholders.
Be the main contact person towards authorities in the new sales country and Franchise Partner.
Manage and drive administration work including writing reports and prepare information for the production office and sales organization.
Handover the requirements to relevant Compliance Specialists for the implementation.



Qualifications
We believe you are a communicative and driven team player who enjoys working with a variety of people, in an international environment. To succeed in this role, you are solutions-focused, structured with a collaborative “can-do” approach and an eye for details.
Have a university degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.
Have at least 2 years work experience within product regulations and compliance within EU.
Experience in reading and evaluating standards and regulations
Experience turning complex information into user-friendly guidelines
Fluent in English, written and spoken
