Engineering Buyer / Expeditor
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Buyer / Expeditor to work with one of our end clients. In this role, you will manage the procurement and delivery of raw materials, custom-fabricated components, and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret engineering drawings provided by our design team or directly from customers.
Source and procure materials required for equipment manufacturing.
Evaluate and verify supplier quotes.
Generate purchase orders (POs).
Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements: Strong background in mechanical engineering or fabrication.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and fabrication engineering drawings.
Experience in purchasing fabrications and components for engineered products.
