Right now, Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions (SRP) and division Stationary Crushing and Screening, is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to our business unit headquarters in Svedala – someone who’s passionate about development. The job
In this position, you’re an important part in the creation of our new automation platform and you engage in solutions that truly make the difference for our customers. You’re responsible for development and maintenance of our systems, and you take lead in planning technical activities and managing the daily tasks of the team. As a valued and strategic expert, you work closely with the R&D department to establish a future roadmap; focusing on digitalization and automation and how we can implement this in our current production and processes.
Building strong networks with internal stakeholders, as well as with external suppliers and contractors is a vital part of your agenda, and this also means that international travel is included in the job. You carry out case studies, test automation and control systems, and contribute with your knowledge in solving complex issues together with our service engineers. On top of this, you represent our department in common technical development activities for Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions.
Your home office is in Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities, such as Malmö, Lund and Copenhagen, and with our site located just across from the train station.
Who you are
An innovative engineer with strong technical understanding and a couple of years’ experience from the manufacturing industry. You have deep knowledge of PLC and HMI programs, and know how to analyze and develop the features in these applications. Your skills are backed by a degree in a relevant technical field, or the equivalent knowledge gained through a working career, and we consider experience from project management as a big advantage. Working with us, you’re based locally while collaborating in a global environment, which means you must have great skills in both English and Swedish.
