Our Outstanding Opportunity
We are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to work with strategic directions of Big Data and Analytics. Work will be in a globally scalable ground-breaking solutioning in operations support. The role entails being the architect to analyze, design & develop and support end-to-end solutions. Working closely with business development and operations teams to translate customer needs into detailed technical offerings, solutions and proposals!
The role also provides support in identifying existing data gaps, building new data pipelines, and providing automated solutions to deliver sophisticated analytical capabilities, design and implement complex computer systems and offer infrastructure services that support the organization’s operations.
You will address any issues related to ICT security and performance and take charge of the software and hardware installations, specification, testing and service transition. The architect will have to identify the potential technology innovations and engage with businesses guide in execution of Incident, Change, Release, Problem, Performance, and Availability Management.
When selecting technologies and building the analytics platform, the architect needs to consider not only the functional requirements, but also the non-functional attributes of platform quality such as security, usability, and stability. Analytics Infrastructure architect plan, design, and supervise these key characteristics of the platform to help ensure that it aligns with enterprise standards and that it performs adequately as additional analytics solutions are implemented.
You will
Provide thought leadership and drive architecture and the design of Big Data Information Management & Analytics solutions
Ensure effective design and development of system architectures through embedded Enterprise Architects; employing effective governance methods for transparency and communication
Design and implement scalable Big Data architecture solutions for various application needs
Analyze multiple sources of structured and unstructured data to propose and design data solutions for scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and elasticity
Set architectural vision and direction across a matrix of teams. Develop conceptual, logical and physical design for various data types and large volumes
Implement Big Data systems in alignment with enterprise architecture and infrastructure guidelines and standards
Implement security, encryption and standard methodologies for Big Data environments
Assist architects in the design and implementation of high-performance systems with large volume data integration processes, database, storage and provisioning
Collaborate with others in a professional manner and be a trusted go to person
To be successful in the role you must have
At least 5 years proven experience with web technologies, building enterprise architecture and good hold on designing, integrating and handling complex infrastructure solutions. The professionals will assist in planning and support processes and adhering to standard methodologies
Consistent track record with Big Data and NoSQL platforms and technologies, specifically hands-on experience with one or more major Hadoop distributions and various ecosystem components (e.g. MapReduce, MLlib, Impala, HBase, Spark etc.)
Experience with unstructured tools and techniques such Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL and public Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
5+ Years of hands-on experience with Spring framework including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Stream, Spring MVC, Spring Data
Experience with Scala
Experience with Cloudera
Experience designing and implementing large scale enterprise applications and data-centric platforms
Experience in designing and developing high-demand transactional data integration solutions
In-depth experience in data modeling and experience with business intelligence systems (dimensional modeling, data mining, predictive analytics)
Understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry including MPP and NoSQL databases, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting and Dashboard development
Fluency with relational database concepts and dimensional modeling for analytic decision support
Knowledge in software development lifecycles/methodologies (agile/waterfall)
Great analytical and problem-solving ability
Interpersonal communication and group presentation
Organizational skills
Self-driven attitude and ability to work autonomously with little support
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Systems information technology or related field. The crucial skills include a detailed knowledge of system administration, software development, and expertise to tackle complex coding issues.
