Experienced CFD Engineer Aerodynamics

ALTEN CAE IS EXPANDING AND NOW LOOKING FOR A CFD ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE FROM THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR AND AERODYNAMICS. In the role, you will work both in-house at ALTEN and at the client’s site. We are looking for you who have been working with aerodynamic simulations (and maybe testing) within the automotive sector, either for passenger cars or heavy vehicles. As a CFD engineer in this position you will not only work with simulations, you will also support decision makers and it is necessary for this position to have previous experience from aerodynamics in the automotive sector.

We are looking for someone who is positive, outgoing, and driven, able to create and maintain long-lasting relationships with our customers, thrilled by problem solving, and able to use creativity and hard work to find new solutions. And of course, we want someone who is genuinely interested in technology! Emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.


KEY COMPETENCES:
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in relevant area.
5 years of working experience from aerodynamics in the automotive sector.
Experience of CFD tools such as Powerflow, StarCCM+, ANSYS Fluent, and ANSA.
Fluent in English, spoken and written.
Good communication and presenting skills.
Driving license.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience from aerodynamics testing
Fluent in Swedish, both speech and writing.
