Experienced C#/.NET Developers - New Business

At New Business, we look ahead. We develop new innovative products and system solutions that broaden Axis' total offering. We are creative and innovative, this helps us both in our daily work and when we have other activities such as 10% planned innovation time for all New Business employees. We at Axis Communications in Lund are now looking for more developers who can help us develop products at the forefront of technology that complement Axis' video offering and thus offer Axis' customers the best products, services and solutions.

It is Audio solutions within New Business that is growing, now also with C#/.NET developers. Audio Solutions builds hardware and software for one of Axis more exciting and successful product areas - Axis Network Audio Systems.

Your future team
A new development team within New Business Audio Solutions will be formed in the spring of 2023. We are therefore looking for up to 3 experienced C#/.NET developers who will form the core of this new development team.

The team's main tasks will be to contribute to the integration between Axis' total offering of cameras, access systems, video recorders and audio devices. In this case, tying New Business Audio solutions closer to this total offering.

The role
You will be a driving force in developing "end-to-end" solutions and more specifically integrating AXIS audio management software with AXIS Camera Station solution. Development will primarily be done in a C#/.NET environment.

Who are you?
As an engineer and developer at New Business, we expect that you have a genuine interest in development, in new technologies and that you are not afraid to learn new things. You must also have a strong drive to get to the finish line.

You are passionate about good, modern technical solutions, but you can balance that with the need to get to the end and deliver incrementally. As a person, you absolutely enjoy working in a group in close collaboration with other talented engineers.

You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, and you need to have worked at least 3 years with C#/.NET since graduation.

It is valuable if you also have knowledge and experience in:

* Entity framework
* Asynchronous programming with Task, Async/Await.
* Database handling.
* Test Driven Development.
* Unit testing/Test automation.
* Network protocols.
* Designing, consuming and implementing REST-ish JSON web endpoints.
