Experienced Database Engineer | Gothenburg

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of an Experienced Database Engineer with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
The applicant will be responsible for the following:
Configuration of databases and schema design
Examining database performance and utilisation
Working with other teams to maintain and improve the performance of the existing database.
Participate in design discussions within the team and review your coworkers' code.





Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
Excellent knowledge of database management and ability to share best practises
Extensive knowledge of data manipulation languages, such as SQL and Python programming skills
PostgreSQL database administration experience
Experience with containerized software and high-performance computing.



Other:
The candidate should be extroverted, open, and self-motivated.


Posses excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.


Enjoy working in a team-oriented environment - collaboration skills, a sense of responsibility, and a willingness to share knowledge and experiences are essential.
