Experienced DevOps Developer- Autonomous systems

Experienced DevOps Developer- Autonomous systems

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We are looking for senior developers with a passion for the software development process to help us create a world-class development environment, including toolchains and CI.

The department Autonomous Systems is one part of driving the shift toward advanced software development at Scania. We are responsible for piloting, testing, and developing future Autonomous Transport Solutions (ATS).

What we offer
We are a close-knit team and take both learning and knowledge sharing very seriously, and it's essential that all members understand and have a stake in our team planning. A good mix of clean architecture and pragmatism is encouraged in our discussions of how to solve problems.

The team's responsibility includes the autonomous systems department for Scania and its global partner brands. This is a complex and broad development environment with state-of-the-art tools and toolchains. We encourage all developers to explore new technologies and contribute to our future roadmap and architecture.

Who are you?
You should be self-going, communicative, and have a helpful attitude. A typical week at our team could include problem-solving to help developers day to day work, interaction with other teams to improve integration, and backlog refinement to enable an adaptable, scalable and maintainable toolchain strategy over time and evolving technology tracks. Conan, Cmake, Docker, GitLab CI, Ansible, and Linux (Ubuntu) are what we use in our daily work.

To enjoy the working task, you should fulfill these requirements:

• B.Sc.or M.Sc. (Embedded, Computer Science, Electrical engineering or similar).
• Professional experience in CI/CD processes and mindset

As a person, you are driven by interactions to understand needs and improve (technical) methods and flows. You are comfortable deciding when to trust facts and when to try out your intuition. You are comfortable splitting your tasks between script programming, support, and exploring new technologies.

For us, it’s essential to have team members who care about our deliveries over time and enjoy a challenge in finding solutions in the team or the broader open source and industry communities. We dare to try with safety in mind, learning by doing.

If you have any questions or are interested, please call: Johannes Slettengren, Grp Mgm, +46 8 553 89462

Application
Your application should include a CV, a personal letter, and a copy of your degree diploma.

A background check might be conducted for this position.
