Experienced Digital Radio Algorithm Developer

Would you like to be a developer involved in developing the future algorithms in the Ericsson radios? Then this may be the opportunity for you!

Our unit is responsible for the development of digital radio algorithms for Ericsson's mobile infrastructure radio products. We are involved in all phases of technology development, from research and technical studies to product development. We design, dimension, and verify the algorithms.

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join us in developing algorithms related to downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) digital front-ends (DFEs).


What you will do
Develop algorithms for next-generation radio products.
Contribute to requirement handling and write specifications.
Participate in technical studies.
Evolve our simulation environments using your software skills.



You will bring
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
At least 5 years of professional work experience.
Proficiency within the field of signal processing used in telecommunication systems and radio technology.
Familiarity with the radio aspects of any of the major standards GSM, WCDMA, LTE, NB-IoT, or NR.
Experience in writing specifications and handling of requirements.
Knowledge in software development.
Knowledge in version-control and code review software e.g. Git/Gerrit.
A creative and innovative approach.
Proficient skills in English; both verbal and written.


Other beneficiary skills for this position
Knowledge in general radio technology.
Experience from project tools like Hansoft or Jira.
Experience from automation using e.g. Python.
