Our Exciting Opportunity
Would you like to be a developer involved in developing the future algorithms in the Ericsson radio? Then this may be the opportunity for you!
The unit you will work in is responsible for the development of digital radio algorithms/signal processing for radio products, a part of all Ericsson's base stations. Our teams are highly skilled with good general radio product knowledge. We are involved in all phases of technology development; from research and technical studies to product development. Algorithms are implemented as a mix of HW and SW so you will have an opportunity to become familiar with both worlds. A key responsibility is to be part of evolving the simulation and tools environment we use for designing, dimensioning, and verification of the algorithms.
This position will report to Section Manager Algorithm DL and UL.
You will
Develop algorithms for next-generation radio products!
Conduct continuous analysis and document your results.
Contribute to requirement handling and write specifications.
Evolve our simulation environments.
Drive continuous improvements in products and processes and develop competence in the technical domain.
To be successful in the role you must have
M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
At least 5 years of professional work experience.
Proficiency and experience within the field of signal processing including non-linear signal processing used in telecommunication systems and radio technology.
Experience in software development.
Other beneficiary skills for this position
General software design and development skills including object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with the radio aspects of the major standards GSM, WCDMA, LTE, NB-IoT, and NR.
General radio technology knowledge.
Knowledge of algorithms like e.g. AGC and CFR.
Product development approaches like lean and agile. Frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.
Familiarity with Git/Gerrit.
