Role Description
As a Programs and Events Marketing Manager, you are a fully dedicated marketing manager, working with our Nordic Event Programs and Events Marketing operations, shaping the future of the Cloud Organisation and being part of an entrepreneurial team in a rapidly growing business. Based in Stockholm, you will be driving the awareness of the Cloud Organisation, the new business acquisition, customer development and user community programs. You are a passionate and results-driven individual with experience in a software or other high-tech cloud B2B organization.
This role will involve developing and executing on a Nordic event strategy to drive interest in the Cloud and actively working with a direct sales team on scalable enterprise and digital natives programs and campaigns across multiple segments and channels.
Responsibilities
Strategize, execute, rollout and optimize new customer acquisition campaigns and programs aligned to horizontal and vertical solutions including events, outbound campaigns, external trade shows and customer stories.
Strategize, execute, rollout and optimize campaigns to drive customer retention, product engagement, and retention including customer conferences, seminars, education and engagement tactics.
Coordinate and support small to major events in the region. Event format can be both third party events and company events,
Look for and recommend opportunities to place spokespeople at relevant events across the Nordic region to drive the Cloud awareness and leads
Recommend/Implement named events within the overall events strategy for the region
Coordinate external agencies for event creative adaptation and brand compliance for event marketing communications
Develop/adapt post event communications based on prospect exposure and requirements.
Required travel to events outside work location and management of the offsite event
Work closely with the sales teams and Demand Management team to drive opportunity and business growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience in B2B technology marketing or field marketing
Ability to speak and write in English and preferably one of the Nordic languages fluently and idiomatically
Experience from planning and delivering digital and physical events
Strong leadership skills including stakeholder management in a matrix organization
Excellent project management skills and experience managing multiple internal stakeholders, external creative agencies, events vendors, and international projects
Great attention to detail
Distinctive problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities with a track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics
Hands-on Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and Marketing Automation tools (Marketo) and tracking tools to assess campaign effectiveness
Sense of humor. We strive to make a difference, dream big, move fast and sometimes find ourselves building the plane as we fly.
The role
The role is a temporary assignment starting immediately and will run for approximately one year. The role requires travel within Nordic Countries and depending on the development of Corona it will be more or less.
