Experienced Electronic Industrialization Engineer
You will be part of a team that develops and manufactures SKFs Connected technologies products. Our products fit into SKFs digitalization platform.
As a Manufacturing industrialisation Engineer, you will be responsible for the industrialization of electronic and mechatronic products developed in line with the REP (Rotating Equipment Performance) strategy for all our customers (railway, automotive and transport, energy, special machines, etc.).
You will work in agile project teams with all internal and external stakeholders, and you will involve yourself in the whole product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
You take the products from engineering to series production.
Define and select manufacturing and integration processes for our electronic products to guarantee their robustness.
Define and implement all the tests and in-line controls to qualify the assembly reliability of the PCBA, sensors, enclosures & modules manufactured.
Involve yourself pro-actively in early development phases of projects, provide manufacturing requirements and establish the design recommendations in order to guaranty the feasibility in production.
Take the ownership for establishing and maintaining the manufacturability of our products, both internally and at subcontractors.
Establish and maintain efficient work cooperation with suppliers.
Strive for continuous improvement.
Job requirements
You have an educational background within Electronics Engineering, preferably a master’s degree.
You have significant experience in electronic industrialization and testing, preferably in an automotive, railway or aeronautical sector.
A technical expertise PCB / PCBA manufacturing processes is a strong asset.
Fluent in English writing and speaking is mandatory.
It would be beneficial if you also had experience with Quality tools, DFx, 6Sigma DfSS or DMAIC and Testing and Verification.
You have excellent interpersonal communication skills to develop extensive interactions with different internal teams as well as with external contacts. You are a communicative team player who is driven by the interaction of team members as well as stakeholders.

Location: Luleå, Sweden. Local contract in AB SKF.
