We are looking for a highly motivated software developer to join us in developing and maintaining the embedded software for Ericsson’s Microwave Radio Link products.
MINI-LINK is a well-known trademark of Ericsson’s microwave transport solution within the radio system with more than 3 million sold units. We deliver market leading performance-driven by smartphones and IoT.
What you will do
We work in a multi-functional development team working with Agile Scrum practices where we in the daily work strive for creativity and continuous improvement. The position includes responsibilities from all development stages of the software life cycle from planning, requirement analysis, software and system design, implementation and testing. As a team, you will on a day-to-day basis interact with other product development and continuous integration teams. Your team, along with a handful of other teams, develops software for Microwave Radio Link products that enable global connectivity for millions of people around the world.

Typical responsibilities and common tasks for an Embedded SW Developer team member
Work in a cross-functional team with responsibility from pre-study to release and customer acceptance for new functionality
SW development in a complex system architecture with SW and HW components
Perform troubleshooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvements of products and ways of working
Develop competence in the technical domain
You will bring
Core competences
MSc or BSc level in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge
2 years of experience in SW development and architecture or similar roles
Knowledge of embedded and/or real-time software
Competence and experience in programming using object-oriented languages C++ and/or Java
Testing competence with a focus on:
Test Driven Development
Continuous Integration and Quality
You do not need to fulfill all the above criteria but have an interest and drive to learn the once you do not tick off.
Preferable competences
Java
Google Test
Git and Gerrit
Docker
Scripting skills
Linux user experience
Radio technology
