Experienced engineer for complete vehicle system simulation

The department Systems & Controls develops embedded systems in modern vehicles and fills them with functionality. We are working in many different domains, such as Active Safety, Connectivity and Electrified Propulsion, for both the automotive and non-automotive customers. We are now looking for new team members to strengthen the complex area of model based and simulation driven development to the Headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Modeling and simulation technology is gaining in importance due to more complex products and the need for more efficient processes for model based systems engineering (MBSE) and virtual verification. There is a need to harmonize modelling and simulation activities throughout the development chain, from early concept phases to final software development and verification.

Your Role

Your role will be to work with the harmonization of modeling and simulation with respect to tool chains, processes and methods, mainly within the automotive domain but also other industries. The work will include development and implementation of both models and simulation environments with the aim of more efficient and automated systems for controls development.

Your Profile

You have a MSc in Engineering, e.g. Electrical, Mechatronic, Automotive, Controls, Automation. You have at least 2 years of working experience with system simulation (1-D) within automotive domain.

Requirements

Experience from automotive industry, either at OEM or Tier1 Experience from model based development, i.e. Simulink, dSpace, Modellica, etc. Experience from vehicle system simulation for development and testing Experience from software development and rapid prototyping Knowledge of FMU/FMI concept Knowledge in C/C++, python, dSpace, Vector, CarMaker or similar tools Meriting is experience from requirement handling, version handling, build servers Fluency in English Driver’s license B A driven, positive and creative personality with a problem-solving approach
