The mission
As a Field Application Engineer at Epishine, you will be project managing internal projects as well as customer projects by acting as a technical expert regarding electrical integration of our modules into our customers’ products. You will be part of Epishine’s Product Integration team consisting of 5 people and collaborate closely with our Market & Sales team and our Tech team in order to aid our customers’ transition to Light Energy Harvesting.
The position offers varying tasks with the over-arching purpose of the role being:
Actively drive ongoing customer projects and act as a technical advisor to find optimal solutions for customer applications and design
Collaborate and communicate internally to solve customer issues and improve processes
Act as Epishine’s electrical expert and advisor in internal projects
Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to drive continuous improvements of electrical integration according to our roadmaps

For the role as Field Application Engineer, we are looking for someone with a relevant technical education in electronics. Additionally, you have a background in low power electronics design and at couple years of experience working with electronics development. It is also beneficial if you have experience in software development, project management, life cycle assessment and/or customer relations.
As a person, you are a hands-on “doer” with a structured approach who has a proven ability to drive projects from start to finish. You are self-driven person who takes responsibility for your work. You are communicative and collaborate efficiently in teams, and your social skills help you to build relations with people both internally and externally. You are flexible and able to adapt to changes with ease. Moreover, you are a problem solver who thrives when faced with a challenge. As our teams consists of colleagues from various parts of the world, you must be comfortable communicating in verbal as well as in written English. It is meritorious if you also speak Swedish, German, French and/or Chinese.
