Expert or ambition to become an expert Front End developer? We are now looking for skilled Frontend Developers to further strengthen our development teams within department Product Development IT, responsible for delivering IT to Scania’s product development process. Together with a variety of colleagues, you will develop the new generation of Scania PDM system, with a new front end interface.

Job description and main tasks
In this role you need to have a deep knowledge regarding web development including different frameworks, e.g. HTML5, JavaScript, Angular etc. You are also familiar with user interface development. We work with agile methods to develop our own PDM applications.
You will:

You will transform requirements in to IT solutions together with colleagues in the front end team as well as with other teams developing the same solution.
Manage components and unit testing.
Develop User Interface in accordance with GUI design guidelines and other principles.

Your profile
Our successful candidate have a passion for front end/web development and probably several years’ experience. Architectural skills and interest is a merit. You have a degree in computer science or similar, and/or equivalent experience. In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.

As a person you have a proactive approach, excellent problem solving skills and you enjoy taking on new challenges and working with a focus on quality and targets. To be successful in this role you will also need good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business. You are a team player, but are also capable of working independently.
