Our Exciting Opportunity
We at Ericsson Packet Core, are currently looking for a Web application developer to work with Ericsson's industry-leading 5G products. We use Cloud Native technologies and tools to develop products on a container based micro-service architecture.
We stand at the forefront of Agile software development, using methods and principles like Lean and Scrum to build a product that excels. Early customer feedback are key elements in our development process which is based on Continuous Integration SW practices. We rely on team collective responsibility to finish the tasks according to a prioritized backlog.

You will
Work as a fully contributing team member, under broad mentorship with independent planning and execution responsibilities.
Be part of a team motivated and autonomous, working directly with product owners and partners in a very collaborative manner
Ensure the intended design and quality levels are met through regular code reviews and testing of the software in-development. Mentor and coach peer and junior engineers and champion standard methodologies and encourage software craftsmanship.
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Have the possibilities to attend Hackathons
Do Coding and Unit testing (CUT) using the defined technologies.
Mentor & Drive Knowledge Sharing and Learning
To be successful in the role you must have
Excellent programming and troubleshooting skills in JavaScript and Python.
Knowledge of the principles of cloud native architectures and its tools, Kubernetes, helm and docker
Linux development experience, working with high performance Linux application
Deep experience in general Tools and Techniques: GIT, GitLab, Jenkins, MySQL, Gerrit
Experience in application profiling and code refactoring
Knowledge of International Telecom Industry standards and Wireless Communication system.
Interest to work with Openstack and other Open Source Communities
