What to expect
The department IBAB is a group belonging to Service Desk within Success Services at Scania IT and will consists of 8 co-workers. Total within Service Desk we are approximately 120 employees and consultants working with the daily support of Scania IT products and services to Scania group. The vision of the section is to make Scania productive by supporting the co-workers productivity into the digital future. With our service-minded and skilled team members our mission is to empower Scania co-workers to reach their full productivity by providing value adding services that aligns with current and future needs.
Your Responsibilities
Although the role does not include staff responsibilities, as an Incident Manager you will lead and coordinate high priority incidents affecting Scania business critical systems within the agreed solution time. You should enjoy working in a high pace occasionally, having the ability to quickly get an overview over incidents with high impact on Scania business. You will be the central hub assisting the support groups to allocate resources needed to investigate and solve the incident as well as keeping the information flow to stakeholders, both inside and outside Scania IT.
As a Problem manager you will take over when the incident has been resolved and the work to find the root cause and to prevent it from happening again starts. To be successful in this process you need to have patience and use project manager skills.
Furthermore, for both incident and project management, you have courage and skills to challenge existing ways of working being creative in how you test these ideas. In this work it is crucial that we can maintain the balance within the group and assign the correct profile on the task.
Your Profile
You are a supportive person by nature with a passion and understanding for end users. Helping- and supporting users with end user IT-services related issues is something you find both inspiring and rewarding. You have a basic technical knowledge to be able to both understand and coach in the incident and problem process. You are steady and firm, yet diplomatic and sensitive in different political winds. Stakeholder management comes natural to you and is part of your daily work.
Our successful candidate will have a passion to coordinate and lead in incident- & problem management decisions that are affecting business. Leading people in a fast pace environment through incident & problem process is something you find both inspiring and rewarding.
You bring enthusiasm, energy, have the skill to understand people's need and give that little extra effort to support our customers.
• You master English & Swedish fluently in both speaking and writing
• You are structured and have the ability to plan your time
• Prerequisites to be successful in this role are that you are communicative, have basic technical knowledge and have a good social ability
• Technical background or an interest in technical industries
• Experience of Incident, Problem, change and or risk management processes in ITIL4 is credited but not essential
• Technical or project controls skillset is a plus
• You are used to taking your own responsibility and decisions and you are encouraged to support and lead other people in a humble but decisive manner
The location
Scania’s headquarter is located less than 40 km south of Stockholm city. It is easily accessible by regional train, commuter train, bus or car. Scania's own bus line, Scania Job Express, departure from Stockholm city directly to Scania in Sodertalje.
