This means developing product functionality, based on consumer insight, and the visual design language through vast iterative ideation at the early stages, and create detailed and validated solutions in the latter.

The role require that you get close to our end users to find the relevant insights for both our existing as well as new product segments and make sure that we make better, more relevant and smarter products than our competitors.

To do this with success you need to be an Industrial designer with a strong interest to understand and empathize with the user together with a proven and a keen interest to create great long lasting products. You have a strong understanding of design principles and a developed aesthetic sense along with excellent creative problem solving skills.

You work comfortably with hands-on product development, building mock-ups and prototypes as well as utilizing digital tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Alias, Rhino, Blender and CLO 3D) and 3D prints, but hand sketching is a tool you have close at heart. We require excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English and we expect you to be comfortable in facilitating workshops and creating convincing visual and verbal presentations.

We believe in strong team work both within your own team but also across teams. We strive to be an open and curious organization, sharing our knowledge and inspiring one another. Within Thule Group you will find people who have a passion for the products we make and the active lifestyle we enable. We share the same values and we like to have fun. All of our employees have a joint responsibility to maintain that spirit and contribute to it.
