Center of Excellence (COE) Architecture & Integration is a Volvo Group IT organization within Emerging Technologies & Architecture COE. Our team members are together among the best Architects in our field taking on challenging assignments within the Volvo Group. The team is strongly involved in delivering concrete Architectural solutions and providing benefit to the Volvo Group through the development and documentation of Reference Architectures, Processes, Methods and Tools supporting our digitalization journey.
 
ROLE DESCRIPTION 
 
As IT Architect in our team, we can offer you an opportunity to share your knowledge in Architectural questions related to EA Pyramid and Architectural principles. Together with your colleagues, you will design and maintain IT architectural principles and guidelines and strive for understanding of business capabilities in our company. We think that you like to lead and coordinate discussions in relevant fora’s and communities – because you have the ability to act across business processes and to share your knowledge. In this role you will contribute to IT strategies, explore relevant market - and IT trends and develop processes and methods to support the Architect community. Your key to success is effectively communication, support and recommendation on Architecture related decisions to stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: 
The position requires that you are fluent in English. 
You have excellent and demonstrable experience as an IT Architect and you understand architecture principles.
You are familiar with the TOGAF framework.
You have good Architectural knowledge of the latest methods & technologies (Citizen Development, HpaPaaS, Cloud, XR, RPA, AI&ML, Microservices, etc.).
You can integrate all architecture disciplines (Process, Data, Application, Integration, Technology, and Security).
You have proven experience working in a strategic project from a business perspective.
