Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for an experienced IT infrastructure architect to join our team! Our unit provides a secure cloud and development environment, offering modern on-demand services to help Ericsson Development Unit Networks scale and grow.

The team is responsible to design, develop and maintain our cloud-based development and test environment. We make sure security standards are followed and that user expectations on performance and availability exceeds expectations. Collaborating across the organization and striving for improvements are important factors for reaching our vision to improve everyday life for our developers!

You are analytical, well structured, cooperative and driven. You will find creative solutions when lacking information and act outside your formal area of responsibility when needed.


You will
Design and develop scalable, redundant and future proof infrastructure to include physical and virtualized environments
Improve existing infrastructure to incorporate the latest technology, standard methodologies and cross application integrations
Actively contribute to the technical evolution of the design and test environment. You will review solutions against architectural principles and strategies. You will be actively involved in architecturally significant changes, e.g. in the introduction of new services.
Contribute to the governance of our design and test environment, e.g. overview information, architectural principles and guidelines.
Actively seek understanding of the problems of system users
Contribute to knowledge sharing in respective areas



To be successful in the role you must have
Education: Bsc in IT, Computer Science or equivalent years of experience
Deep understanding of cloud-based IT environment solutions
Experience with big data ecosystems and technologies
Follow & understand industry trends in the area
A good understanding of product development practices and CI/CD flows
A quality focus and a drive to always improve
Excellent skills in communication and team collaboration
User centric mentality, with a high accountability to deliver results
Large degree of flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks
Knowledge within operation & system administration of Linux based environments
