About this opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced JAVA Developer who wants to be in the forefront of large-scale software development, within our near real-time Business Support Solutions with focus on Revenue Management, specifically RMCA (Revenue Manager Catalog Application) and COBA (Common Business Configuration Application).
At RMCA/COBA, we are a very tight community of 2-3 development teams based in both Karlskrona, Sweden and Chennai, India. Our systems are developed with industry standard technologies, geared for virtualization and cloud environment, with great user experience in mind. What you will do:
• A team of highly qualified software developers
• Both front-end and back-end development
• All phases of the product's life cycle, including prototypes, demos, design, implementation, verification and maintenance of our products
• End-user driven development of a product with an extensive GUI
• Ways of working that are based on agile principles, where Continuous Integration and Automation are corner stones in our development methodology
• Possibility to rapidly develop as software developer, be challenged in different roles and follow many different technical career paths that will build your technical leadership
The skills you bring:
• A Master’s or Bachelor´s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
• Solid experience in software programming languages, preferably Java and JavaScript/TypeScript as well as in industry standard frameworks like Java EE, OSGi, Angular etc.
• Good knowledge in Software development environments and tools like Jira, Git, Gerrit, Maven, Jenkins etc.
• An attitude that embraces Lean & Agile principles and loving to engage in a team setting.
• Great interpersonal skills, flexibility and willingness to adapt & respond to change
• A creative mentality and loves to gain new insights and new solutions as well as a positive and inspiring approach in your everyday work
• Proficient English skills as work in a global environment
