Job description Ready for the challenge of a lifetime, working with the world's leading company in microwave transmission?As part of our commitment to broadband for next generation networks, Ericsson is strengthening the project team that works with advanced technology products such as MINI-LINK Short Haul radio and Marconi Long Haul radio.We are seeking experienced designers for work on state-of-the-art transceivers, an essential part of the success of our products.Your tasks will include the breakdown of requirements to circuit block level, line-up simulations, EM simulations and the preparation of documentation.You'll also share responsibility for transceiver verification and product maintenance.More importantly, you'll be part of a company that is passionate about its people and its technology. Competence You should have at least 3-5 years' experience with sub-system and microwave design.Your experience extends to microwave frequency simulators, preferably ADS, Momentum and HFSS.You should also be familiar with microwave frequency measurement and instruments.Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma is an advantage, as is familiarity with MMIC and/or RFIC IC technologies.You should be a team player, yet able to take the initiative when required. You should also have: . A PhD or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or similar education . Good written and spoken English . Good communication and co-operation skills .
