The team and your future role
We are now looking for a skilled Verification Engineer/Developer to join our test and verification team. This verification team is responsible for testing and maintaining Ericsson’s world leading microwave mobile backhaul products. The main activities are requirement analysis, test case design, test, integration, product lifecycle management and documentation.

You will be part of an organization that works with agile methodology in a multi-site and diverse verification team. Our Continuous Integration and Verification teams drive the quality assurance of the Network products from integration to test including early deployment in customer networks around the world.
What you will do within the organization
You will be part of a section that has a responsibility to be our organizations internal face of the customer and quality guardian. We are responsible for system verification both on node but also on complex network levels. Our team is doing test analysis, test case design, test execution, troubleshooting and test result reporting for the SW and HW products as well as our management systems. Tests are done using signal generators and a Java environment.
As a Verification Engineer/Developer, you will:
Actively take part in requirement analysis and break down to test tasks
Write new and update existing test cases in Java
Do hands-on lab work
Perform automated and manual test execution
Conduct advanced troubleshooting activities
Report test results
Initiate and drive improvements in ways of working and in our test product

Mandatory qualifications:
BSc level in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge
Minimum 5 years’ experience in verification and development area
Verification and network competence
MINI-LINK competence with in-depth knowledge in Radio Link area
Trouble shooting competence and experience
TCP/IP, layer2 & 3 competence
Test Automation experience with programming and scripting skills
Unix knowledge
Lean & Agile Knowledge and Skills (preferably Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery)
