We are Europe´s leading kitchen specialist with eighteen strong brands and production in seven countries, we are in the most ambitious period in the history and are now looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our journey.
Nobia has taken the strategic decision to build a production facility in Jönköping, the investment being the largest in Nobia’s history. The plant, which is planned to be in full operation by 2024, will be one of the most modern kitchen manufacturing factories in Europe.
At the same time, we have accelerated our ambitions in digital and data and keep our customers at the heart of what we do. Our new department Technology Experience and Data will be based on product teams and adopt an agile way of working, taking us to new levels of technology, data and experience excellence. This new formation will ensure synergies in technology strategy and execution, for the benefit of both customers and employees.
This is what you will do
Together with Product Owner & Solution Architects within our Technology and Connectivity team, you will play a key part in designing, implementing and managing of all aspects of the Network and Security spaces at Nobia.
The high levels of digitalization and automation at the green field facility in Jönköping bring with them new challenges, where we are looking to new-tech solutions and investing in cutting edge technologies. Your knowledge and experience in areas such as IT/OT networking, micro-segmentation and cybersecurity will play a key part in establishing a template that will in the future be applied across the Nobia group of companies.
Initially, you will be based in Jönköping, working from either our project offices in the city center or from home. Late 2022 or early 2023, we expect to relocate to top-modern office spaces at the factory in Torsvik, where we will of course have in-house recreational and restaurant facilities.
Whilst the role will in the future be predominantly Jönköping-based, we would expect that the successful candidate be prepared to travel to other Group locations should the need arise. During at least 2022, you should expect to spend 2-3 days per week at our facility in Tidaholm.
Main responsibilities
• Design, configuration, documentation and support of LAN, WLAN & WAN networks and security policies in a multi data-center environment (on-premise, AWS & Azure)
• Staying abreast of developing techniques, threats and opportunities, driving the development of Group standards & solutions and contributing to the future automation journey strategy within Nobia
• 2nd and 3rd line support to colleagues across the group of companies
We would expect that you have
• A University degree
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Cisco CCNA
• AWS, Azure or Google Cloud experience
