Main responsibilities
Alfa Laval Operation’s mission is to increase customer value by optimizing supply chain performance. In this role you will be developing and implementing our supply chain and operations strategy; unlocking insight; bringing people together and leading change; designing and implementing new supply chain concepts; planning and executing projects with major impact on performance and competitiveness. Are you the person that will help shape the future of our supply chain?
Your responsibility is to develop and implement major supply chain and process improvement projects on a global cross-functional level. You will act as a consultant and partner, mainly on strategic and tactical levels. You support management in prioritising the supply chain projects. Together with the rest of the Operations Development organization you expand the base for delivering projects with increased quality and speed. The position reports to Alexandra Kristensson, Supply Chain Development Manager and you will be located in Lund. You should anticipate some travel, up to 50-70 days per year.
Qualifications
You have proven leadership skills from a change driven international matrix organisation and at least 10 years of experience working with larger complex projects in an international environment. Previous experience in a consultant function is a clear advantage but not a requirement. You have an M.Sc. in engineering or business, focused on supply chain management, business development or similar.
You understand the interaction between processes, organisation, culture, people and technology in the whole value chain. You understand and like that “people do work with people”. You see opportunities rather than limitations and are able to navigate and drive changes successfully on all levels of the matrix organisation. You have a holistic analytical approach and you are able to work both independently and in larger teams. You have a strategic mind-set and are a good communicator. You show passion and energy and you bring energy to those around you.
We offer
Supply Chain Development is a central team in Operations Development – a department reporting directly to the Alfa Laval Operations Group. The team of 9 project managers is responsible for developing and rolling-out global concepts that make our supply chains increasingly competitive in the eyes of the customer. Supply chain development is playing a major role in the strategic development of Alfa Laval’s Supply Chain.
